Alexandros moves back and forth across Persia with his
army, conquering the provinces as he reaches them. He offers
administration of these provinces to his generals as thanks for their help
and to keep them in line. Of course, each wants the richest
provinces and they compete among themselves for them. The players
are the generals and choose the path of Alexandros to their advantage:
creating rich provinces for themselves and dividing opponents' provinces
to reduce their income. The players may take over opponents'
provinces to increase their own income and reduce their opponents'
income. Timing is critical in this fast-paced competition for the
best provinces.
