| Judging
Criteria:
To promote awareness and to increase the cultural value
of games. The award recognizes outstanding games based on
originality, playability, and educational value of the game idea;
organization, clarity and understandability of rules; packing and layout
of the game board and the game rules; and functionality and overall
quality of the game materials included.
No member may be involved in the design, production or
marketing of games, and they must be well-established game critics in the
German language public media. The jury appoints its own members and
doesn't have a fixed number of seats. The members of the present jury,
include 3 of the original founders. |
