this is one of Rafael's greatest works and one of the most important in
renaissance painting. In the centre of the fresco, presiding a great
number of characters are also depicted, such as Socrates, Euclid,
Heraclites, Epicure and Pythagoras. All of them are symmetrically
distributed on both sides of the fresco,
