Shut the Box
Objective: Each player tries to cover as many numbers as possible. Instructions: Each player rolls one die. The player with the highest roll goes first. The player throws the dice, and decides which numbers he would like to cover. (i.e. If a player's throw totals 9, the player may chose to cover number 9, both numbers 8 and 1, numbers 6, 2, and 1, or any other combination of numbers which add up to nine. If a player rolls two 6, the total value of his throw is 12. The player may then chose to cover numbers 7, 3, and 2, or any other combination of numbers which adds up to twelve.) Once all the numbers greater than 6 have been covered, players only throw one die during their turn. When the player manages to cover all of his numbers or when the player is unable to cover his numbers (i.e. player rolls a 3, but only has 1 and 4 uncovered), his turn is done. The player then determines his score by adding up all his uncovered numbers. The player with the lowest score after every player has had a turn wins the round.
