Dino Dice
|
|
|
The game consists of 5 dice, each with 6 different Dinosaurs. Five
are Herbivores (Plant Eaters) and have numbers and values of 1, 2, 4, 5, and
6. One is Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Carnivore (Man Eater) and has a number
of 3, but no value.
To be the player with the highest score over 150. Any number of
people may play.
Each turn consists of a maximum of three rolls per player. A player
may choose to stop after the first or second roll, but cannot roll more than
three times. On this turn a player rolls all five Dino Dice. For
each 3 (Rex) showing, one Herbivore is "Eaten" (removed from play) for the
duration of that player's turn. The remaining dice are then grouped
into "Herds." A "Herd" consists of two or more of the same type (value), and
a player may have more than one Herd. A player may keep single dice,
but no bonus is given for these: they are scored at face value only. A
player may record the score of his first or second roll and pass the dice to
the next player, or reroll any or all dice except "Eaten" dice.
